Erin Ford lives and trains in The Dalles, Oregon. An All-American swimmer in college, Erin continues to thrive in sport. Through hard work and dedication she has become a strong force on the bike and she continues to build and improve upon her running speed. Favorite Training Ride: Riding the Old Highway through the Columbia River Gorge between The Dalles and Hood River (on a day with NO wind!).

FAVORITE FOOD (s): I love food, so this is the short list: Peanut Butter - on anything! Apples, bagels, celery, graham crackers, pancakes, toast …Oatmeal with cinnamon, walnuts and rasins

HOBBIES: Outdoor activities with my husband, Dave – skiing, mountain biking, white water rafting, hiking. I have promised Dave that I’ll give windsurfing a try too.

ATHLETIC BACKGROUND: I grew up in the swimming pool. Summer swim team, high school swimming and swimming competitively through college defined who I was. I ran cross country for a couple years in high school, but I didn’t start to really enjoy running until college and after.
